Halloween Heroes.
We were so glad that Halloween night was dry since this month has set a record for the most precipitation for an October in our area. We did our traditional routine of going to my parent's house for hot dogs, trick-or-treating in their busy neighborhood, and then back to their house for a bonfire on their driveway. The girls were besides themselves excited for all the fun.

With excited comes goofiness!

Michael was a cute little skeleton. He liked the getting candy part, but wasn't so down on not getting to eat it all right away as soon as it went into the Halloween bucket.

Audri really got into the trick-or-treating this year. This was the first time we didn't bring a wagon or stroller along, and good thing too because no one would have used it. After each place that put candy into their buckets, Audri would say "Can I go to the next house?" in a high squeally excited voice and then she would take out running for the next porch light that was on.
If she got behind her sisters at any of the spots she would wiggle her way up to the front to be first in line for the candy...it was quite comical. She would even try to look in their windows if they didn't answer their door in a timely fashion : ) Carly at one house said she didn't really like the type of candy she was given and asked to trade, my brother got a big kick out of that one.We met up with some of the girl's friends at one of the houses and they were super heroes too.

I LOVE LOVE the pic of Audri running down the street with her cape a blowing in the breeze. I think this was a great idea for a group of girls. So fun and different!
You got some great shots....sorry I'm behind on commenting. I'm a little slow as usual.
